“Patriotic Waves” was inspired by the powerful symbols of American freedom and unity. The quilt’s design, with bold diagonal stripes in red, white, and blue, echoes the vibrant energy of national pride. The combination of stars and stripes fabric in various shades evokes the American flag, a symbol of hope and freedom for many. Making this quilt was both a tribute and a challenge. Piecing the strips together to create those smooth “waves” of color took precision and patience, especially in the quilting room, where each block was carefully aligned.
