The story is told from Nana’s heart, an elderly woman, beginning with the quilt named ‘Summer Vacation’.
Nana commenced each quilt by selecting bright-colored fabric pieces, depicting cheerful images like flowers, birds, and serene seascapes. Each fabric square exuded the essence of summer, evoking the feeling of long beach vacations.
Every night, as the sunlight waned, Nana would sit meticulously weaving each stitch, as if narrating tales of her youthful summer holidays and cherished memories with family and friends.
With every needle stroke, Nana encapsulated joy and unforgettable memories, creating a meaningful and heartfelt piece of art. And as summer returns, ‘Summer Vacation’ will continue to be a loyal companion, bringing warmth and happiness to those who embrace it.
